As usual if you depend on the government for anything, it never happens. Fortunately Foradian Technologies has come up with a font that includes the rupee symbol. All you have to do is just these simple steps:
Go to the Foradian Technologies page here and either download the 2.0 version or 3.0 version as shown in the figure. Right click on the downloaded font file and Install it. Now you can choose the Rupee Foradian font in Word, Notepad or anywhere and use the Rupee Symbol. It’s the ‘~’ key of your keyboard above the ‘Tab’ key, below the ‘Esc’ key. And now you have your ` symbol :D
