Today other than Email and SMS, Twitter and Facebook have become the two other basic modes of e-communication. Facebook recently just crossed the 500 Million users mark while Twitter crossed the 20 Billion tweets milestone! Wooooh! Way to go!
There are many stupid people on the Facebook and Twitter who try to publicize the “uselessness” of the other service. For example, some Facebook users keep posting status updates to stop using Twitter and live on Facebook and vice-versa. What’s the logic behind this?!! They are simply jobless and crazy! Facebook and Twitter are totally two different entities!
Recently Twitter took a tip from Facebook by adding the auto-generate followers in the sidebar just like how Facebook already has from a long time now. But as compared to the dying Orkut, Facebook and Twitter both haven't thought of adding custom themes yet. Well, yes you can choose your background and your colour etc, but then again that doesn’t actually change the entire theme. I think Twitter is fine with custom backgrounds. They should make the image adjustments more easier for the regular user. Facebook can try new themes too, but I’m very happy with the current pleasing-blue theme.
